Excursion en train à Bâle. Là-bas, nous visiterons dans la « Kunsthaus » de Bâle (Maison de l´art) l´exposition de Van Gogh - événement culturel le plus important de l´année en Europe : « Entre ciel et terre  - les paysages ». A voir : 70 tableaux, aussi bien des œuvres-clés de l´artiste, très celèbres, que des œuvres peut-être moins connues.

On the occasion of the actual Van Gogh - Exhibition in Basel - this evening talk will show how his art became such an important stimulus for modern painting. Van Gogh pursued his ideas, though the time was not ready to understand this kind of art. What is it, that makes his innovative paintings so successful at today’s art auctions?
