Your way to us

We recommend that when making your booking you confirm the entry requirements for Germany with your local consulate/embassy. For incoming journeys via a German airport, a valid Schengen visa is sufficient, also when arriving via Zurich airport, Switzerland (information is given without guarantee).

By plane:

– via Zurich: approx. 75 minutes by taxi, closest international airport

– via Friedrichshafen: approx. 40 minutes by taxi, domestic airport with direct flights from cities including Frankfurt, Berlin, Hamburg, Cologne, London, Vienna

– via Stuttgart: approx. 1 hour 40 minutes by taxi, international airport with direct flights from many European cities

By car:

– From the direction of Stuttgart:

Take the A 81 motorway to the Singen/Hegau junction, then take the A 98 heading for Stockach/Friedrichshafen/Lindau. Continue until the exit to the right via road works. Take the first exit to Überlingen Krankenhaus/Stadt-mitte.

– From the direction of Zurich:

Via Winterthur to Schaffhausen to the German border, then take the A 98 heading for Stuttgart/Singen. At the Hegau motorway junction, take the A98 turning heading for Stockach/Friedrichshafen/Lindau. Continue as above.

– From the direction of Munich:

Take the A 96 to Lindau, take the Sigmarszell exit, continue on the B 31 heading for Friedrichshafen, further approx. 50 km to Überlingen. Stay on the “old B 31” until the Überlingen Aufkirch/Krankenhaus exit. From the Überlingen Krankenhaus exit, continue straight ahead across the first roundabout, passing the hospital on the right. IMPORTANT: after about another 300 metres, turn right into Uhlandstraße. After continuing downhill for about 300 metres, turn right into Wilhelm-Beck-Straße, at the end of which is the main entrance to Buchinger am Bodensee.

How you come to Buchinger
